KIM and Tim are at the backyard. They are helping Grandma to pick some vegetables. Suddenly, they hear thunder and the sky turns dark.
“Get inside the house, children!” grandma calls out.
“Hurry, Tim!” says Kim while she grabs the basket full with vegetables.
The children run into the house. They hand the vegetables to Grandma. Outside, the rain falls heavily. It rains for hours. It doesn’t stop until midnight. The children get up early the next morning. They go outside the house. What a mess! The fence around the garden falls down on the ground. “We’ll fix the fence tomorrow,” grandpa says.
“Can we help, Grandpa?” ask the children.
    “Yes, you can.”
The next day, Grandpa, Kim and Tim are ready with the tools. They have a hammer, a saw, pincers and some nails. They are going to fix the fence. They only stop for lunch.
“A good work, kids!” says grandpa. The fence stands straight now.
“It’s time to repaint the fence,” Kim says.
The paint the fence happily. In the afternoon, they finish their work.
