Kitty is a pretty kite. Her face is painted red, yellow, green, orange and purple. She has a long blue tail.
Today is kitty’s first flight. She says hello to every kite on the field.
“Wow! She’s beautiful!” a white kite says. Other kites think the same. Some of them admire her.
But some others envy her. None of them are as pretty as kitty.
“Him, I’m Kitty,” Kitty introduces herself to every kite she meets at the sky. Other kites think, “Kitty is nice. She is not arrogant although she’s pretty.”
A yellow kite says, “Kitty, you are every pretty.”
Kitty smiles and says, “Aren’t you ashamed because you’re not pretty?”
What?! How can she say that?
A white kite answers angrily, “As long as we proud of ourselves.”
“I don’t like you!” says a red kite before she leaves Kitty.
Soon other kites flow the red kite. Now Kitty is all alone.
“I prefer to fly alone anyway. I have a much larger space,” Kitty thinks.
She flies high. She runs here and there. She wiggles her tail. She does any moves to get all the attention.
Suddenly a strong wind blows. Other kites get down quickly. But Kitty can’t.
Her long tail prevents her from moving fast. It causes her to get stuck on a big tree. Kitty tries to pull herself. But the harder she pulls, the more she gets stuck. The tree is too tall for children on the field to climb.
She stays on the tree for days. She has to take heat and rain every day. Now she has nothing to be proud of.
